Children up to 12 years of age must visit the WOW Museum with an enthusiastic person.
Since the WOW Museum is located in a historic building, there is no lift and some of the rooms are slightly smaller.
You are welcome to place your stroller in the cloakroom so that you can comfortably enjoy your stay.

No, unfortunately not. However, if it rains cats and dogs, we are happy to give you a voucher so that the WOW experience can be rescheduled at a later date.
We recommend the City Rally for those aged 7. Younger children can still take part in the rally and will be able to take one or two things with them.
You can buy your admission ticket from the comfort of your home here buy. It is important that you choose your desired entry time.
For example, if you choose your ticket for the 1pm-2pm slot, you can show up between 1pm-2pm. So your admission is guaranteed even at 1:55 p.m. If you arrive after the specified time, we will let you in, subject to availability.
As usual, you can also buy a ticket at the ticket office. We will then check for free space in the museum and can let you in depending on the number of visitors. If the museum is already fully visited, you can reserve the next possible time for admission. This allows you to go out for a coffee in peace and quiet without having to wait long in line.

Yes, cameras are allowed for private use, as long as no other equipment such as stands, lights, etc. is brought along.

No, unfortunately animals are not allowed unless a service dog is involved. In this case, please write to us at info@wow-museum.ch, to find a suitable date.
If you want to start the rally right away at the same time, you can also buy your ticket at the box office. If you would like a ticket for another day, please do so to book online.

There are certain places where you have to use stairs. However, it is always possible to avoid them and get to the destination from another side. However, a longer expiry time is then to be expected.
We have a cloakroom with lockers. No liability is assumed. For individual large pieces of luggage, we can also provide our staff room.
Shootings are best carried out on Tuesdays. No shootings are possible during operation. Feel free to contact us at events@wow-museum.ch.
Yes, exclusive rent is required for each event. You are welcome to contact us in advance via our Inform the offer.
Of course, the City Rally can easily be paused. So take it easy and take a break because you can resume the rally at any time with the access link. You will receive the access link in advance by e-mail from Ticketino on your ticket.
We offer exciting guided tours for inquisitive school groups. Training topics such as: Optical illusions, color theory, perspective and sensory perception can be easily explained and presented in WOW.

We recommend booking one ticket online at a time. To do this, check your preferred date and time online in advance. Here you can go directly to the ticket shop. If we have enough space, you are also welcome to come by spontaneously and we will check the capacity on site. However, waiting times must be expected or that admission will not be possible.
During the holiday season and on weekends, we expect the museum to be busy. We therefore strongly recommend booking a ticket at these times. At a sold-out museum, we always have a box office quota available for spontaneous guests. However, there is a waiting time for these tickets or even that admission is no longer possible.
You are welcome to print it out, but it is also sufficient if you have the ticket on your mobile phone. Simply the QR code is enough for us.
No, public transport is not required.
No, but there are family tickets to buy for families. Families with more than 4 children can book an additional child for CHF 5 each. In addition, all tickets are 15% off on Thursdays (excluding holiday periods or public holidays). For the last day's slot, we also offer a 25% discount on tickets.

Yes! The City Rally only works with a smartphone that has access to the Internet. A maximum of 30 MB is required.
In the City Rally, you run a total distance of approx. 2–3 kilometres. Good footwear is therefore highly recommended!

If you are a larger group (from 16 people), you are welcome to the City Rally via the following Online reservation tool to organize. For larger groups, we will give an introduction on site, during which the rally will be explained.
Unfortunately, we do not carry out group visits on weekends, as we are always busy on weekends.
If you are a smaller group (up to 13 people), you can buy the tickets yourself via our Book a ticket shop.
You can also purchase tickets across slots (e.g. 9 tickets at 12:20pm and 3 tickets at 12:40pm) but your group can start the visit at the same time.
You can pay for your ticket booked online by credit card or Twint.
At the local cash desk, we accept credit cards, debit cards, EC, TWINT, PostFinance and cash.

Go to the wow-museum.ch website and click on “Tickets” on the right and then select the date and time.

Select your ticket, enter your details and go to the shopping cart. There you can then enter your code under “ENTER PROMOCODE” and select “Redeem”.
Several promo codes can be redeemed one after the other.

Complete booking.
Important: The voucher can only be redeemed online and not on site.
Vouchers can be purchased online via our Ticket shop purchased as well as directly on site.
The tickets for the rally can directly on the website be booked. Select your desired day & time when you want to start the rally. A ticket is intended for a maximum of 5 people. The ticket will then be sent to you by email.
With the holiday pass, tickets (for children) are discounted by 33%.
You can redeem tickets directly through our ticket shop using the mentioned promo code. This code is only available to those who have purchased the ZVV holiday pass. If you are unable to redeem the ticket online, please show the brochure at the ticket counter on sight. We highly recommend booking the ticket online, as we expect high museum attendance during the holidays.
The ZVV holiday pass is only valid for children's tickets. Children under 12 years old require adult supervision in the museum.

The City Rally is about discovering the secret location of Willow. You start at the WOW Museum in Zurich and set off on a journey to the lost place with your smartphone. With the help of GPS, you can get from post to post, where funny WOW moments and interesting tasks await you. Only if you complete the respective challenge will you get to the next location. What do you think you'll discover at your destination? An exciting journey awaits you with lots of WOW impressions, which will hopefully change your perception and attention in normal everyday life a bit.
Expect around 60-90 minutes for your visit. This depends heavily on how long you spend exploring the rooms and exhibits and dealing with the topic.
For the entire course of the City Rally, you cover a distance of 2–3 kilometres. However, this also varies depending on the chosen tour.
To participate in the City Rally, you must be at least 3 people. If you have more than 5 participants, you will be divided into 2 teams and will start the City Rally against each other. But you have different routes. But we also have a duo tour where only 2 people are needed to start the City Rally at a time.
A smartphone with the ticket access link is required per team. And an optional additional one for navigation during the City Rally.
You need at least 60% battery to complete the City Rally. However, we still recommend that you come with a fully charged smartphone.

If you book tickets for up to 15 people, you can book the City Rally up to the day before (if there are still available tickets). For larger groups, please book tickets up to 10 days in advance.
Smaller teams can get the ticket directly and at any time, book here.
The WOW Museum is easily accessible both by private car and public transport.
Zurich Central Station is a 5-minute walk away.
The nearest Urania car park is a 3-minute walk from the WOW Museum.
PubliBike rental bikes are also just around the corner on Werdmühleplatz.
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to refund the ticket. Please contact our ticketing partner directly to rebook your ticket (info@ticketino.com). They can send you a rebooking code as long as we min. 3 days be informed before you visit the museum. Entries that are already in the past can no longer be rebooked.
If you run out of battery, you can simply share the access link. This allows another person in the team to continue the rally.
You can also buy power banks at the WOW Museum.
That's right, with family tickets, you get four tickets, two adult tickets and two child tickets. However, you can bring up to four children with you. If you have five children or more, an additional ticket must be purchased.
Unfortunately not, as we are a private museum.
We have 12 interactive rooms, which contain lots of colors, patterns and lights, including light shows. In addition, some of the rooms are a bit smaller. Some of them could have a more intense effect on people with a leg condition. At reception, we would be happy to inform you about the more sensitive rooms.
However, it should be noted that entry is at your own risk, as each person could react individually and differently to the exhibition. Of course, we provide support where we can.
In a worst-case scenario, a visit can also be canceled.
Unfortunately not, as we are not a member of the association.
The museum is located in a historic building with tight spaces. As the building is worth protecting, there is unfortunately no lift available. On request, we are happy to provide a ramp at the entrance/exit. The ground floor with the main rooms is accessible with assistance. We also have a wheelchair accessible toilet. Wheelchair users have discounted prices and any necessary assistance/accompanying person is free of charge.
The City Rally is only partially wheelchair accessible. In certain places, you have to use stairs. However, it is always possible to avoid them and get to the destination from another side. However, a longer expiry time is then to be expected.

Visitors are only allowed into the exhibition on a limited basis to guarantee a pleasant experience. You can book your time slot from the comfort of your home. If you stop by spontaneously, we will check whether there is space available for you and can let you in depending on the number of visitors. If the museum is already fully visited, you can reserve your admission online as soon as possible.
The found items are kept in the WOW Museum for up to 3 weeks. After the deadline, well-preserved clothes and objects will be donated to organizations. We keep EC and credit cards, ID/passports, driver's licenses and keys in the museum for up to 3 weeks, after which we hand them over to the Zurich City Police. In case of loss, please write to us at info@wow-museum.ch
If you are prevented due to illness or accident and have not taken out ticket insurance, unfortunately the ticket cant be refunded no longer. As a courtesy, we can issue you a promo code for a visit at a later date. Please sign in to do so, info@ticketino.com Important A promo code can only be issued if we are informed before your visit.

Tickets must be rebooked at least 3 days before visiting the museum so that we can free up the reserved seats again.

The museum covers around 400m2, 3 floors and has 12 interactive rooms, where you become part of the exhibition yourself.
Before you start the tour, our staff will introduce you to the visit.
The following is required for the rally:
- VERY IMPORTANT: your ticket
- 2 CHARGED smartphones with access to the Internet. Please note that the model is not older than 2017 and that your Internet browser has the latest update.
- Good running shoes and something to drink are also highly recommended
On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, an event is possible from 5 p.m., on Tuesday, you can start as early as 3:30 p.m. We do not offer exclusive use of the museum on weekends.
During the week at 19:00 - 19:15.
On Friday and Saturday at 21:00 - 21:15.
To have enough time for your visit, you should plan at least 45-60 minutes to visit the museum.
We therefore recommend that you arrive at the museum no later than 45 minutes before closing.
